Hello!
I am currently working on my third book on Swedish fortifications and fixed artillery, the subject of my new book is Swedish defences in northern Sweden (Boden fortress, Luleå coast defences and the kalix line) ca 1900-1999.

Does anyone on this forum have any Russian documents regarding this subject?
It could be maps, drawings, manuals on Swedish equipment etc.

Regards Alex

Hello! I don't have and don't see any Russian documents about Boden, but in Moscow in Russian State Military History Archive (Rossiiskii gosudarstvennyi voenno-istoricheskii arkhiv -- RGVIA) I have met the only mention about Boden fortress: RGVIA, fund 2000, inventory 1, file 275. The description of the Buden fortress, in 18 pages. Maybe this will help.

I think, you can ask your questions, how to order the copy of this document, by email. Write a letter to address info@rgvia.com

A small mistake in my previous post: correct term is not pages, but sheet. Each sheet can have front side and back side or only front side. So the whole document can content from 18 to 36 pages.

In Russian archival cipher sounds like:
RGVIA, fond 2000, opis' 1, delo 275.

Good luck in your endeavor!
